Viewing Online: All auction items are available to preview through out website. Please note since all items are sold “As Is” it is important that buyer’s satisfy themselves of an item’s condition. Absence of a statement to condition in the description does not construe a statement of any kind. Please request a condition report for any additional condition information on a piece.
Terms and Conditions: Prior to registering to bid in the auction, all buyers are required to read our terms and conditions. By submitting a bid you agree to and are bound by the terms and conditions of sale. All purchase are subject to a buyer’s premium. This premium is an addition to the 6% Pennsylvania sales tax. If you are a dealer and wish to be tax exempt, please complete the Pennsylvania Exemption Certificate and return it to our office with a copy of your resale license. Items shipped out of state are not subject to sales tax.
Telephone bids are accepted for all auctions. By submitting a telephone bid you are agreeing to open the lot at the starting price. A staff member will contact you several lots before your item of interest and relay your bid live on the sales floor. To submit a telephone bid, please complete the telephone bid form and return it to our offices. We ask that all telephone bids are registered at least 24 hours before the auction to guarantee a phone line.
Online bidding is offered worldwide through Live Auctioneers and Invaluable. You can watch and bid live along with the sale in real time. Please note that bidders with limited bid history or open disputes may require additional credit verification. Please register at least 24 hours prior to the sale to ensure your registration is approved.

If you wish to place absentee bids online we encourage buyers to do so through HiBid. Please keep in mind these are absentee prebids only and not a portal for live online bidding.
Payment and pick up: All invoices will be sent at the conclusion of the sale. We accept credit card payment directly and securely though out website. We also accept business and personal checks, wire transfers, and cashier’s checks. Please note that funds must clear our account before items can be released. Pick up or shipping arrangements must be made within 15 days after the sale. Buyers who fail to make arrangements within 15 days may accrue storage fees. Our address is 14 E. Moreland Ave. Hatboro, PA 19040. We are open Monday through Thursday 10 AM- 4 PM and Friday 10 AM- 2 PM for pick ups. We ask that buyer’s call ahead to schedule pick ups to ensure access.
Shipping
Ashcroft and Moore does not provide any in house packing or shipping as per our terms and conditions. We instead work with third party shippers to facilitate shipping for our clients. Please view our list of recommended shippers below. Once you have made firm shipping arrangements, please email our offices at [email protected] to authorize the release of your items to your preferred shipper.
